Purpose:

Senior Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing all technical office activities related to construction projects. This includes preparing shop drawings, reviewing designs, following up on materials, and ensuring alignment between project specifications, execution, and client requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals in compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure proper execution on-site.
  • Prepare and review material submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation required for project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Provide technical support to the site team during construction and finishing works.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and timely delivery of materials.
  • Assist in value engineering and cost control by identifying efficient solutions without compromising quality.
  • Supervise junior engineers and provide guidance to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Prepare periodic progress and technical reports for management and clients.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical office roles, with proven experience as a Senior Technical Office Engineer.
  • Strong background in construction and finishing works.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering/design software.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
