1. UX Research & Design
- Conduct user research, persona creation, and requirement gathering with stakeholders.
- Create user journeys, storyboards, and information architecture for dashboards and applications.
- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma or Adobe XD.
- Perform usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
- Maintain a design system with reusable components and UI patterns.
- Redesign and improve existing Power BI dashboards to enhance usability and aesthetics.
- Implement DAX measures and Power Query transformations to create UX-driven KPIs.
- Build interactive navigation, tooltips, drillthroughs, and bookmarks for storytelling dashboards.
- Optimize dashboard performance and manage workspace & Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Create custom visuals via Power BI SDK for tailored user experiences.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Integrate dashboards into web apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Use React or Angular (basic level) for embedding Power BI reports or creating custom UI wrappers.
- Work with REST APIs for dynamic content and backend data interaction.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Design Conversational UI flows and interfaces for AI copilots, chatbots, and document assistants.
- Create prompt workflows and optimize prompt engineering for better AI responses.
- Prototype AI experiences using Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Understand RAG workflows, embeddings, and model limitations (hallucinations, safety guardrails).
- Design multimodal user interactions (text, image, voice) for AI-driven recommendations and copilots.
- Work closely with data engineers, backend developers, and SMEs to translate technical KPIs into intuitive dashboards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies – story creation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Document UX guidelines, component libraries, and interaction standards.
- Present design concepts and usability findings to business and engineering stakeholders.
