SEO Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven SEO Engineer (1-2 Years) to join our IT company’s digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing advanced SEO strategies to improve our website's organic rankings, user experience, and overall search performance. You’ll work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to drive measurable results and stay ahead of ever-evolving search engine algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, execute, and manage on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility.

* Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

* Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to fix issues like crawl errors, site speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.

* Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures for SEO best practices.

* Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO-optimized content creation and updates.

* Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

* Track KPIs like keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, and conversions.

* Stay updated with the latest search engine trends and algorithm changes.

* Contribute to link-building efforts and manage backlink health.

* Implement structured data (schema markup) for enhanced search appearance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or a related field.

* 2–3 years of proven experience in SEO (preferably in a tech or IT company).

* Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

* Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and major SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).

* Good knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
