Job Summary
The SEO Specialist is responsible for improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and enhancing search engine rankings through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies. The role involves keyword research, content optimization, website audits, analytics tracking, and continuous monitoring of SEO performance.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.
- Conduct detailed keyword research and identify growth opportunities.
- Plan and execute on-page optimization activities including meta tags, headings, content optimization, and internal linking.
B. Technical SEO
- Perform website audits to identify technical issues such as crawl errors, page speed, site structure, indexing, and mobile optimization.
- Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues.
C. Off-Page SEO
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies.
- Manage submissions, guest posting, directory listings, and outreach campaigns.
D. Content SEO
- Optimize existing content and collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly content.
- Develop SEO content strategies to improve visibility and user engagement.
E. Monitoring & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and competitor performance.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports for management.
F. Competitor & Market Research
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Stay updated with latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
3. Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in SEO (freshers with strong knowledge can also be considered).
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress/CMS platforms.
- Understanding of content marketing and keyword strategy.
