Position: SEO Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimisation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy to improve organic visibility, drive traffic, and enhance overall website performance. You will work closely with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure all SEO best practices are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve keyword rankings.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for optimisation and growth.
Create monthly/quarterly SEO plans aligned with business goals.
On-Page SEO :
Perform keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner.
Optimize website content, landing pages, metadata, URL structures, internal linking, and overall site architecture.
Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content and blog strategies.
Technical SEO :
Conduct regular website audits to identify technical issues such as indexing, crawl errors, site speed, structured data, and mobile friendliness.
Work with the development team to implement technical improvements.
Monitor Core Web Vitals and ensure compliance with Google’s technical guidelines.
Off-Page SEO :
Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
Manage brand mentions, outreach campaigns, and digital PR activities.
Track backlink profile and identify toxic links to disavow when needed.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, conversions, and overall SEO ROI.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
Prepare detailed SEO performance reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with content, design, product, and marketing teams to ensure SEO is integrated into all campaigns.
Lead experiments, A/B tests, and growth initiatives focused on improving organic performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
Hands-on expertise with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and SEO audit tools.
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with large-scale websites or e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of content marketing and digital growth strategies.
Familiarity with AI-driven SEO tools and automation platforms.
