SUMMARY

Schedules and sells needed service work in the service department while providing excellent customer service to internal and external personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules appointments, communicates with customers to determine the nature of mechanical problem to their vehicle
• Schedules service work in the service department and for selling additional services to customers
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications using maintenance menus
• Obtain customer and vehicle data
• Write up repair orders and clearly communicate to customer the estimate of repair
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, to encourage their loyalty and obtain service recommendations
• Follows up with the progress of each repair order and contacts customers regarding any changes
• Handles telephone inquiries regarding automotive service work in progress
• Delivers vehicle to customer and is available to answer any questions

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent customer service skills
• Highschool Diploma/GED
• Valid drivers license with a company acceptable driving record
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts
• Must be able to do basic math like add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Maintain professional appearance

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
