Job Summary
The Service and Operations Coordinator at QER in Riyadh, KSA, reports to the Operations Manager and coordinates service activities and day-to-day rental operations for a fleet of equipment. This role ensures equipment is maintained, available, and delivered on time to customers while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards, with a key KPI to uphold equipment uptime without non-operational and breakdown losses.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair activities for rental equipment in line with OEM and company standards.

Plan and monitor daily equipment dispatch, delivery, and collection to meet rental commitments and optimise fleet utilisation.

Maintain up-to-date records of work orders, service history, machine hours, and downtime in the rental/ERP system.

Act as a central point of contact between customers, workshop/service technicians, drivers, and the sales/rental desk.

Respond to customer service requests, breakdowns, and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Review equipment condition on off-hire/return, coordinate damage assessment, and initiate required repairs or internal charges.

Support inventory control of spare parts, filters, lubricants, attachments, and consumables required for service operations.

Monitor adherence to safety procedures and environmental requirements within the yard and workshop.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly service and operations reports, including fleet availability, utilization, and key KPIs such as equipment uptime.

Assist management with scheduling of technicians and drivers, route planning, and optimisation of transport resources.
Qualifications And Experience

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering, industrial/operations management, logistics, or a related field.

Professional experience (typically 3+ years) in equipment rental, construction machinery, or industrial service/operations.

Working knowledge of equipment (AWP, Compressors, generators, etc.) and standard maintenance practices.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience using rental, fleet, or maintenance management systems.

Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail in a fast-paced operational environment.

Understanding of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations in the equipment rental industry.
