Service Engineer-Electrical

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Service Engineer with strong expertise in pumps, control panels, and VFDs. The successful candidate will perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of pump-related electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. This role requires hands-on technical skills, customer interaction, and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps and pump control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults related to pumps, motors, control panels, VFDs, and building electrical systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical components and control equipment.
• Diagnose system performance issues and recommend technical solutions or upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Configure and program VFDs, soft starters, and basic control components.
• Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation after site visits.
• Coordinate with project teams for system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and propose solutions.
• Manage assigned service jobs independently and support team members when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pump systems or building services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and VFD operation/maintenance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and control issues on-site.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
