Service Engineer || ELV || MEP

Job Title: Service Engineer ELV & MEP Systems Department: Technical / Maintenance / Projects Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Service Manager Experience Required: 1 to 3 Years Annual CTC: 3 Lakhs Job Summary: The Service Engineer (ELV & MEP) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and timely service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• ELV Systems: Install, test, and maintain systems such as: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, BMS, and Networking systems.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Perform system configurations, software updates, and calibration.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for component replacements.
• MEP Systems: Support maintenance and servicing of: Electrical panels, pumps, plumbing networks, lighting, and power systems.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Assist in root cause analysis for breakdowns and suggest corrective actions.
• General: Prepare service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to project and operations teams.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and ensure timely closure of service tickets.
• Coordinate with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications (Preferred): Fire Alarm / CCTV / BMS OEM certification.
• Safety or HVAC servicing certification.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ELV and MEP systems.
• Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and networking knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork.
