Job Purpose

The Service Engineer – Process Analyzers is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning support for various process analyzers and associated sample handling systems. The role ensures analyzer reliability, compliance with OEM standards, and effective communication with control systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of process analyzers to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime.

2. 2. Carry out calibration and validation of analyzers using certified gases and solutions as per OEM guidelines.

3. 3. Troubleshoot analyzer systems and sample handling components, including filters, coolers, rotameters, pumps, valves, and fast loops.

4. 4. Ensure proper integration and communication of analyzers with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.

5. 5. Prepare service reports, calibration certificates, and maintenance records for compliance and audit purposes.

6. 6. Conduct site visits for preventive maintenance, shutdown/start-up support, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

7. 7. Submit detailed site visit reports outlining work performed, observations, and recommendations.

8. 8. Report to the Manager – Service & Analytical for daily assignments, maintenance planning, and performance evaluation.

9. 9. Coordinate and communicate effectively with client representatives and operations teams during site activities.

10. 10. Comply with all HSE standards, permit-to-work systems, and safety protocols, including gas safety and confined space entry.

11. 11. Monitor and track consumables (filters, lamps, membranes, calibration gases) and recommend timely replenishment of spares.

12. 12. Suggest and implement improvements for analyzer reliability, lifecycle management, and obsolescence planning.

13. 13. Participate in OEM/principal trainings, FAT/SAT workshops, and product update sessions as nominated by the company, maintaining relevant certifications as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in analyzer maintenance or field service.
  • Strong knowledge of process analyzers (e.g., gas chromatographs, oxygen analyzers, moisture analyzers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DCS/PLC/SCADA integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to HSE compliance and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
