Service Representative Role

The Service Representative’s mission is to provide excellent customer service through repairing and maintaining customer tools.

Responsibilities


  • Repair and maintain pneumatic tools

  • Schedule on-site service calls

  • Schedule product delivery

  • Manage parts inventory in the service vehicle according to the scope of the tool population with your accounts

  • Inform customers of new products/offers related to their type of work

  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling and service strategies and marketing information

  • Maintain customer contact for service and product needs and communicate any changes or concerns to the service manager or assigned sales representative

  • Arrange delivery of products and equipment

  • Ability to repair or replace defective equipment parts using the necessary tools and equipment

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance for customers

  • Diagnose mechanical problems- ability to read schematics

  • Communicate parts needs and/or issues to the service manager

  • Represent the company with integrity

  • All other responsibilities assigned


Requirements


  • Ability to learn new skills

  • Previous repair and mechanical experience

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Inventory Management, Accounting, and Operations

  • Creative problem solving, analytical Thinking, and communication skills

  • MS Office applications & basic internet usage

  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role is primarily spent in a warehouse environment, with some time in an office environment, routinely using standard repair equipment and technology. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
