We are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to be appointed as a "Shift Engineer" in the forest products sector in Turkey and in the world, located in Düzce.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Forest Industry Engineering).
  • Preferably 0–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment (internships or project experience will be considered an advantage).
  • Knowledge of production systems, safety practices, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and shift-based production environment .


Job Description


  • Supervise and coordinate production activities on the shop floor during the shift.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement lean manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Prepare shift reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to cost reduction and process improvement projects.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new operators and technicians.
