Experience Required - 15-20 years

Education - Masters degree in Management

Job description :

• Liasoning with Marketing / Demand & Supply Planning / Banking / Accounts and Logistics department for matters which are beyond DGM level for local & North shipments.
• Liasoning with HOD of factories, Logistics department and vendors on case to case basis for urgent and emergency matters.
• Monitor all departmental processes within the Shipping department and provide guidance and training wherever required by the departmental colleagues.
• Providing various inputs for MIS & other reports as per requirements.
• Update Market & Shipping feedback to Management.
• Attend meeting with Shipping Lines, Transporters, Rail Operators, other vendors & interdepartmental in-house and outdoor as and when required.
• Visit to various ICD’s, Rail Operators, branch offices, factories, Customs, Port for shipment related matters.
• Cost Control
• To provide strong and disciplined leadership which will be essence of his managing the department and will be closely reported to his Seniors
