Job Title: Site Engineer – High-Rise Residential (Mivan Shuttering)
Location: Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer with strong expertise in executing G+10 to G+15 residential buildings using Mivan/Aluminium formwork systems.
The candidate must handle end-to-end construction starting from plinth work, raft/footings, vertical RCC members, slab cycles, Mivan shuttering operations, blockwork (if any), waterproofing, services coordination, and finishing works.
The engineer will be responsible for structural execution, quality control, Mivan cycle planning, finishing supervision, safety management, contractor coordination, and ensuring timely completion of all stages of high-rise building construction.
Key Responsibilities (Compact – Point by Point)A. Structural Execution (Mivan & RCC Works)
- Review structural drawings, Mivan shuttering drawings, slab cycle plans, and BOQs.
- Execute plinth works including excavation, PCC, footings/raft foundations, pedestals, and plinth beams.
- Manage Mivan shuttering works for walls, slabs, columns, shear walls, lift cores, and staircases.
- Ensure correct alignment, plumb, stripping times, formwork pressure limits, and shutter cycle optimization.
- Monitor rebar cutting, bending, fixing, ensuring correct cover blocks, lap lengths, and bar spacing.
- Execute RCC works—pump line management, concrete pouring, compaction, curing, slump checks, cube testing.
- Maintain 7-day, 14-day, 28-day strength checks as per IS codes.
- Achieve targeted Mivan slab cycle (5–7 days per floor) with efficient planning.
B. Masonry, Plastering & Internal Works
- Execute masonry (if applicable) using AAC blocks or dry walls, ensuring proper bonding & curing.
- Supervise internal/external plastering, cement mortar ratios, thickness control, and finishing lines.
- Oversee putty, primer, and painting sequences along with surface preparation.
C. Waterproofing & Structural Protection
- Supervise waterproofing for terrace, toilets, sunken areas, balconies, basements, podium.
- Check screed levels, slope direction, pond testing, and ensure correct application of membranes/chemicals.
D. MEP & Services Coordination
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and HVAC teams to embed conduits, sleeves, floor sleeves, and boxes before shuttering.
- Ensure no clash between RCC members and MEP services—pre-pour clearance checks mandatory.
- Verify drainage slopes, shaft openings, core walls, and service duct dimensions as per drawings.
E. Finishing Works Execution
- Execute and supervise:
- Flooring (tiles, granite, vitrified tiles)
- Doors/windows installation
- Toilet finishing work
- False ceiling
- Staircase finishing
- Balcony railings, façade works, external texture painting, elevation features
- Check alignment, joints, levels, tile spacing, and grout quality.
F. Quality Control & Documentation
- Maintain DPRs, RFI submissions, material consumption reports, cube test registers.
- Conduct quality inspections at all stages—rebar, shuttering, pre-pour, post-pour, finishing.
- Ensure compliance with IS 456, IS 13920, IS 10262, and project specifications.
G. Safety Management
- Enforce safety guidelines for high-rise works:
- Scaffolding safety
- Mivan deck edge protection
- Working-at-height protocols
- PPE usage
- Lift core & shaft barricading
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe crane and pump operations.
H. Contractor & Team Management
- Plan and allocate labour, shuttering teams, concrete gangs, bar benders, masons, and finishing teams.
- Coordinate with contractors, PMC, consultants, vendors, and ensure work follows schedule.
- Monitor material requirements: cement, concrete, rebars, Mivan components, waterproofing materials, tiles, etc.
I. Project & Timeline Management
- Work towards achieving:
- Target slab cycles
- Daily work progress milestones
- Finishing stage deadlines
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions immediately.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering – mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of RCC high-rise construction, Mivan/Aluminium formwork systems, IS codes, and construction methodologies.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in high-rise residential building construction.
- Must have minimum 2+ years of experience in Mivan/Aluminium formwork OR handled multiple floors using Mivan system.
- Should have executed at least one G+10 to G+15 structure end-to-end.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
