Site Engineer - Mechanical

Job Purpose

To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the proper execution of mechanical works at site as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

The Site Engineer - Mechanical ensures quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of all mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and monitor the installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Chilled Water systems

Review IFC drawings, project specifications, and coordinate with the design team for any discrepancies or clarifications.

Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings and method statements.Prepare daily progress reports, monitor manpower allocation, and ensure work is progressing as per project schedule.

Coordinate with other discipline engineers (Electrical, Civil, etc.) to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth site execution.Inspect materials and installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks for site workers.
  
  

Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover activities of mechanical systems.

Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals

• Maintain updated as-built drawings and documentation for project close-out.
  
  

Qualifications Experience: Bachelor& Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

3 -7 years of experience in MEP site execution within the construction industry (preferably UAE/GCC experience).

Good knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems installation procedures and standards
