Site Foreman (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure all work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor daily construction activities and productivity to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
• Report progress, delays, and issues to the site/project manager.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce health and safety regulations (e.g., PPE, hazard control).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory; request supplies as needed.
• Oversee installation and use of machinery and construction tools.
• Manage and resolve on-site issues or conflicts between teams or subcontractors.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping (e.g., site diaries, time sheets, inspections).

Requirements:

• Proven 2 year UAE experience as a site foreman, supervisor, or similar role in the construction industry specifically in road works.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Solid leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills (reporting, emails, timesheets).
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma or trade certification preferred).
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role is preferred.

The first preference will be given from India, Egypt.
