Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Jointer – Civil to handle jointing and related civil activities at construction sites. The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in civil construction, with hands-on expertise in pipe laying, jointing, and finishing work, ensuring quality and timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform civil jointing work for pipelines, sewer lines, drainage systems, and other civil structures as per project specifications.
• Inspect materials, pipes, and joints for quality compliance before and during installation.
• Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and fitting of pipes and joints according to technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site personnel for smooth workflow.
• Monitor and maintain work progress, ensuring tasks are completed within project timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, construction standards, and quality protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipe connections, fittings, and joint failures.
• Maintain site records, reports, and documentation of completed work.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil construction jointing works.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment required for jointing, alignment, and finishing.
• Good understanding of civil construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary construction team.
• Supervise junior staff and helpers involved in jointing and related civil works.
