Role and Responsibilities:
The Site Safety Manager (SSM) will be responsible for managing safety operations at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. The SSM will oversee multiple, concurrent, fast-paced, high-profile jobs and ensure that all safety protocols are maintained throughout the project's duration.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Perform site walks to observe unsafe work practices and follow up on safety-related issues.
  • Draft detailed reports on safety observations and unsafe work practices, maintaining Safety Logbooks and ensuring proper documentation for all safety-related activities.
  • Review and follow up on Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), ensuring proper implementation and execution on-site.
  • Monitor and verify site staff certifications to ensure all personnel are properly trained and certified to perform their assigned tasks safely.
  • Lead investigations for accidents and incidents, documenting findings and making recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct Site Safety Orientations and prepare and deliver Toolbox Talks to ensure all workers are informed and educated on safety standards.
  • Regularly meet with site teams to review safety performance, address concerns, and recommend improvements.

Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's experience, education, and training. The estimated hourly wage for this position is $60 - $70/hour.
