Site Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing project schedules, and supervising on-site personnel to deliver quality results efficiently and within scope. The Site Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining project timelines, budgets, and standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
• Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety standards (OSHA compliant) and quality specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings accurately.
• Manage safety protocols on-site to ensure OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment; manage contracts and subcontractor performance.
• Supervise on-site personnel including subcontractors; provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities, inspections, incidents, and progress reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using tools such as ohmmeters; ensure proper installation and functioning of systems like pipelines.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management, with a minimum of 3-5 years supervising construction sites or projects.
• Strong familiarity with construction management software including Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and schematics reading.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, contracts management, and construction estimating.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards (OSHA) and quality control procedures.
• Experience working with heavy civil projects, pipelines or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Supervising teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
