Overview

Greetings from Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

We are in the process of establishing a specialized workshop dedicated to Chinese car brands (MG, Changan, Haval, Geely, etc.) and are seeking qualified staff for immediate hiring.

Our manpower requirements are as follows:

Responsibilities / Open Positions

• 2 Senior Mechanics - Knowledge: Engine, Gearbox, and Electrical (full expertise in Chinese cars) (Accommodation Inclusive)
• 1 General Mechanic - General maintenance & repairs for Chinese vehicles (Accommodation Inclusive)
• 2 Helpers - Basic knowledge of Chinese cars, assist mechanics in workshop (Accommodation Inclusive)

Duty Timing

• 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Friday Off

Job Specification

Technical & Mechanical Skills

• Engine & Transmission Repair (petrol, hybrid, and turbo engines common in Chinese brands).
• Gearbox Expertise (manual, automatic, CVT, and DCT).
• Electrical & Electronic Systems (sensors, ECUs, wiring, ignition systems).
• Air Conditioning Systems (diagnosis and repair).
• Suspension & Steering Systems (hydraulic, EPS).
• Brake Systems (ABS, EBD, ESP).
• General Maintenance (oil change, filters, belts, batteries, tires).

Diagnostic & Software Skills

• Ability to use OBD-II scanners and specialized diagnostic tools for Chinese brands.
• Knowledge of brand-specific diagnostic software (e.g., MG's GDS, Changan's diagnostic system, Geely OBD).
• ECU programming and software updates.
• Troubleshooting electronic faults.

Specialized Skills for Chinese Vehicles

• Understanding of Chinese spare parts systems (OEM vs aftermarket).
• Experience with Turbocharged engines (very common in Changan, Haval, MG).
• Familiarity with Chinese hybrid/electric cars (increasing demand, e.g., BYD, Geely hybrids).
• Ability to adapt to different build quality and designs of Chinese brands compared to Japanese/European cars.

Professional & Workshop Skills

• Workshop safety knowledge (tools, lifts, protective equipment).
• Time management (handling multiple cars daily).
• Ability to explain repairs and issues clearly to customers.
• Record keeping (service history, parts used, diagnostics performed).
