Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake.
• Write efficient Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Implement Snowflake best practices for performance optimization and cost management.
• Develop and manage ETL processes for loading data into Snowflake from various sources.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance within Snowflake environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Informatica) and data modeling.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Snowflake Python Connector or Snowpark for Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for data visualization.
