Job Overview

Galena Aesthetics is seeking a highly creative, fast-paced Social Media Content Creator with strong filming and editing skills to join our growing team. This role focuses heavily on daily content production for Instagram, especially Reels, capturing the authentic, luxurious, and educational feel of a medical spa.

The ideal candidate is someone who can independently brainstorm concepts, film in-office content, edit high-quality videos, and create visually compelling reels that stand out. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment, works quickly, and understands aesthetic medicine, beauty trends, and social-first storytelling.

ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Filming

• Film high-quality in-office content daily, including procedures, behind-the-scenes clips, skincare tips, patient transformations, and educational segments.
• Concept, storyboard, and pitch creative ideas for Instagram and TikTok content.
• Edit engaging Reels with strong transitions, text overlays, audio sync, and aesthetic branding.
• Capture and produce photography that aligns with the med spa’s premium look.

Social Media Strategy

• Develop and execute innovative content strategies aligned with brand goals.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule (daily IG Reels + supporting posts/stories).
• Stay ahead of trends in aesthetics, beauty, and digital platforms.

Platform Management

• Manage social media platforms and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
• Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and support community growth.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy to increase reach and conversions.

Digital Marketing & Branding

• Implement SEO best practices, keyword research, and social listening to guide content.
• Ensure consistent visual branding and accurate messaging across all channels.
• Collaborate with the PR and marketing team to maintain cohesive brand communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation, filming, and editing for social media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) & video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and short-form storytelling.
• Experience with social media management tools.
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent graphic design and photography skills.
• Ability to produce content quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication, creativity, and time-management skills.
• Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, beauty, or aesthetic environment is a plus (but not required).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
