Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and metrics-driven Social Media Coordinator to manage our dental group’s digital presence and online reputation. This role plays a key part in enhancing patient engagement, increasing brand awareness, strengthening our online reviews, and ensuring consistent representation across all social platforms and locations. The ideal candidate is a strong content creator with a passion for social media, digital storytelling, and reputation management, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-location healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Create, edit, and publish engaging social content, including photos, videos, reels, stories, and blog-style posts that reflect our brand voice and highlight our practices.
  • Publishing & Auditing: Maintain consistent posting schedules across platforms and regularly audit social media accounts to ensure branding accuracy and content quality.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor, track, and respond to online reviews using platforms such as Podium, Swell, and Birdeye. Escalate sensitive or urgent patient feedback to the appropriate internal teams.
  • SEO & Listings: Manage and update Google My Business listings for all practice locations, ensuring accuracy in hours, services, and imagery. Collaborate with vendors to support backlink building and overall SEO improvements.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze and report key metrics including impressions, engagement, leads, and conversions. Provide weekly performance insights to the Marketing Manager to guide strategy adjustments.
  • Community Interaction: Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and community engagement in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital content creation, or online reputation management (healthcare or dental experience a plus).
  • Strong photo/video editing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and Google My Business optimization.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report digital metrics.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

Computer and Software Requirements

  • Experience with social scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Familiarity with reputation management tools (Podium, Birdeye, Swell).
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
  • Ability to manage Google My Business listings across multiple practices.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and basic project management platforms.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms quickly.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a onsite practice environment.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and use standard office equipment.
  • Occasional travel between practice locations for content capture or meetings may be required.
