Social Media Editor, Hospitality & Design
ITP Media Group is looking for an energetic, ambitious and innovative Social Media Editor. The role requires a passion for growing and maintaining engaged audiences, a proven track record of executing social packages and big digital first content ideas, and the ability to work closely with editorial teams to create captivating copy and eye catching visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and execute the brand's social media strategies.
- Grow audiences and improve engagement on Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Create a daily and weekly social calendar aligned with user behaviour.
- Manage social coverage of live events from vision to execution.
- Constantly monitor analytics and adjust content to meet growth goals.
- Liaise with editorial teams to ensure stories fly across social channels.
- Provide regular feedback to editors and writers on performance.
- Communicate best practices to the wider editorial team and provide training.
- Produce weekly performance reports.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets as agreed.
- Ensure all content fits within brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Work closely with the design team to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Group Editor to align content with overall content strategy.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the commercial team and deliver sponsored content campaigns.
- Occasionally attend out of hours events to create social content.
- Establish and maintain relationships with social media partners across the region and stay ahead of trends and new platforms.
- Travel to other Time Out offices (Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah) as required.
Technical Competencies
- Proven track record of growing an engaged social media audience across multiple platforms.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (CrowdTangle, Later, Social Studio, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Creator Studio, etc.).
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data to inform strategy and provide reporting.
