Position Title: Social Media Handler and Content Creator
Location: PNY Trainings Arfa Tower
Reports To: Production Team Lead
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Handler and Content Creator to join our team at [Institute Name]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing content strategies across various social media platforms to promote our IT training courses, events, and services. The role will focus on creating engaging content, interacting with potential students, and building a strong online presence for the institute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement for the institute’s IT training courses.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to incorporate new ideas into the strategy.
  • Content Creation:
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and educational content (text, images, videos, infographics, blogs, etc.) tailored to the audience across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Design promotional content for upcoming courses, webinars, workshops, and other institute events.
  • Record, edit, and publish video content, including course highlights, student testimonials, faculty interviews, and other promotional materials.
  • Social Media Management:
  • Manage and monitor day-to-day activities on the institute's social media accounts.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and queries from students, prospects, and followers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a consistent voice and brand presence across all social media channels.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Build and nurture a community of followers, students, and industry professionals by engaging with the audience through polls, quizzes, discussions, and other interactive content.
  • Promote student success stories, testimonials, and achievements to showcase the impact of the IT training programs.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track social media metrics and KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, follower growth, click-through rates, etc.) to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media performance, and suggest areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Team:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with broader marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., course coordinators, faculty) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared.
  • Paid Advertising:
  • Assist in creating paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to drive traffic to the website, increase course registrations, and improve brand visibility.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in social media management and content creation, ideally in the education or IT sector.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Basic graphic design skills (using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) for content creation.
  • Video editing skills (using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO and keyword strategies for social media content.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on creating clear and engaging content.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think outside the box and develop unique content ideas that will engage and inspire the target audience.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple social media accounts and content schedules while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the education sector or IT training environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or social media analytics tools.
  • Understanding of the IT industry and current technology trends.

Location: PNY Trainings Arfa Tower.

Timings: 9am -6pm (Mon-Sat)
