About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will develop impactful strategies, create engaging content, manage online communities, and drive both brand visibility and audience engagement. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, strategic thinking, analytical capability, and the ability to manage multiple projects and team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement creative, goal-driven social media strategies.
  • Identify emerging trends and consumer behaviors to shape campaigns and content direction.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to enhance overall performance.

Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee daily activities across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Tumblr, and YouTube.
  • Tailor and optimize content for platform-specific audiences.
  • Plan, create, and coordinate original multimedia content using tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Asana, and Later.
  • Design and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotional activities.

Community Engagement

  • Manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and initiating conversations to boost engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators across relevant platforms.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and interpret campaign and platform performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights, and native dashboards.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Research and test new tools and technologies to enhance tracking, reporting, and overall social media effectiveness.

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate junior team members, including Social Media Executives and Assistants.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Manage and monitor social media budgets.
  • Educate internal teams on best practices for social media (for in-house roles).
  • Communicate with clients regularly via calls, emails, video meetings, or in-person sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or related role.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience in content creation, influencer coordination, and community management.
  • Proficiency with scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills with experience mentoring junior team members.
