Job Overview
Looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator to help manage a 400,000+ follower account for a "dogfluencer." The account is not currently monetized but was at one point. Account owner had to take a break due to family illness/caregiving responsibilities.
Payment
Would prefer a revenue split which would ultimately be more money for the SMM but might result in deferred payment. At one point this account was generating a generous amount of cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to re-monetize account
- Help develop a strategy for re-engaging audience.
- Co-design a content calendar with account owner
- Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to increase organic reach and visibility.
- Help set up affiliate channels
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns if necessary
- Update website copy to align with new content
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, digital marketing strategies, e-commerce integration, and emerging platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management
- Experience with online advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
- Strong content creation skills including photography, video editing, proofreading, and storytelling.
- Excellent relationship management skills to engage with online communities effectively.
- Ability to analyze data insights to inform strategy adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of branding principles within digital marketing contexts.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
