We’re now expanding our media team with a Lead Content Creator / Social Media Manager to elevate our storytelling, capture the essence of the GlasWerks DMV brand, and drive measurable growth across all digital channels.

Position Overview:
The Lead Content Creator / Social Media Manager will be responsible for capturing, producing, editing, and distributing media that aligns with the GlasWerks DMV and GWSO brand identity. This role will coordinate daily content operations across our Sterling and Manassas locations and support larger productions involving additional media crews, photographers, editors, and outside creators.
You will manage all social channels, grow engagement, and travel to events, shoots, rallies, and industry shows to support our content and brand initiatives.
This is a hands-on, high-creativity, high-velocity role for someone who lives the automotive culture and loves the high-octane world of exotic builds and motorsports.

Responsibilities:
-Content Creation & Media Production Capture daily photo & video content across fabrication, builds, installs, motorsport prep, customer deliveries, and behind-the-scenes operations.
-Produce high-quality vertical and horizontal content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
-Edit and publish reels, shorts, long-form features, build diaries, and event coverage.
-Develop creative concepts that fit the GlasWerks aesthetic and storytelling tone.
-Maintain consistent brand visuals, messaging, and posting cadence.

Social Media Management
- Own and manage all GlasWerks DMV/GWSO social channels.
-Plan, schedule, and execute a multi-platform content calendar
-Monitor analytics, track performance, and adjust strategy to drive KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, conversions)
-Respond to comments, DMs, and community inquiries in a brand-appropriate manner.
-Identify and leverage trends relevant to exotic, off-road, and motorsport verticals —-
Production Coordination:
-Coordinate “big production” days involving additional videographers, drone operators, photographers, and specialty crews.
-Manage shot lists, storyboards, and logistics for large campaigns and SEMA-aligned projects.
-Maintain equipment, batteries, SD cards, lighting, and audio kits.
-Work with leadership to ensure all content aligns with brand strategy and product timelines Event & Travel Coverage.
-Travel to rallies, races, car events, private shoots, client handovers, and industry shows (SEMA, etc.)

Qualifications Required:
3+ years experience in content creation, social media management, or videography -Strong proficiency with cameras (Sony/Canon), gimbals, lighting, audio, drones -Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut -Experience managing and growing social media platforms
-Familiarity with SEO optimization for posts.
- Demonstrated ability to produce both vertical and cinematic horizontal content -Able to direct talent, interview subjects, and capture authentic storytelling
-Reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently
Preferred:
Background in automotive, motorsports, or off-road content.
-Experience working with luxury/lifestyle brands
-Understanding of engineering, fabrication, or performance culture.
-Ability to manage high-pressure shoot days and rapid turnaround deadlines
