Social Science Teacher - Cambridge Curriculum

Responsibilities

· Strong understanding of curriculum frameworks, learning outcomes, and assessment patterns of both CBSE and Cambridge Lower Secondary.

· Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Social Science lessons aligned with CBSE and Cambridge curriculum standards.

· Ensure students develop strong foundational understanding in History, Geography, Civics, and related interdisciplinary themes.

· Promote inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, analyze information, and develop critical thinking and research skills.

· Integrate real-life examples and activity-based learning to make Social Science concepts relatable

· Design creative lesson plans, projects, worksheets, and assessments that foster conceptual clarity and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.

· Provide constructive feedback and individual support to students to help them excel academically and in co-curricular activities.

· Maintain accurate student records, evaluate progress regularly, and communicate effectively with parents.

Qualification Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences

· B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification with specialization in Social Science (preferred).

· Minimum 3–4 years of teaching experience handling Grades 5–7 in Cambridge school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
