REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Kentucky Teacher Certification (For Designated Content Area or CTE Pathway)
Demonstrated capacity in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and/or CTE program management
Effective experience leading teams or managing departmental functions
Strong organizational, communication, and partnership development skills

Meaningful passion for innovation, leadership, and real-world learning


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a key instructional and operational leader within the designated learning academy; applies strong
leadership, organizational, and industry-aligned vision to guide the development, implementation, and
sustainability of academy programs; oversees all pathways within the designated academy, ensuring curriculum
alignment, world-class instruction, leadership development, and effective community partnerships; collaborates
with school administration and other academy lead teachers to drive innovation, promote instructional
excellence, and implement workforce alignment as a model of next-generation education in Kentucky.


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES & EVALUATION CRITERIA
Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all pathways with the designated
academy with fidelity and commitment to student success
Collaborates with school administration and the curriculum coordinator to ensure the design and ongoing
implementation of the pathways within the academy emphasize project-based learning, competency-based
assessment, and interdisciplinary learning, as well as alignment with the state student assessment system, career
and technical education, and postsecondary/workforce standards
Oversees and monitors the results from assessment systems, capstone projects, and authentic performance tasks
to promote achievement of real-world student learning outcomes and inform changes in educational practice
and programming within the academy
Supports teaching and instructional staff within the academy through professional development, mentoring,
and/or coaching as the primary teacher and instructional guide within the academy
Expands learning opportunities through collaboration with teaching and instructional staff within and across
academies through flexible scheduling, summer programming, and innovative, integrated projects and activities
that align with academy pathways and student interests
Facilitates professional learning communities and other strategies to promote collaboration, continuous
improvement, and instructional alignments within and among pathways and academies
Leads efforts to develop and sustain entrepreneurial initiatives and student-led ventures that generate funding
and awareness for academy programs

WARREN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Ensures equitable, strategic use of funds with an emphasis on long-term stability and innovation by managing
academy budgets and seeking external funding sources (such as grants, sponsorships, and partnerships) in
collaboration with school administration
Collaborates with employers and post-secondary institutions to ensure program relevance and rigor while
developing transitional opportunities, such as industry certifications, dual credit, apprenticeships, internships,
and early college
Establishes and engages a Community Advisory Team for the academy composed of business, industry, and
higher education partners to guide curriculum alignment, integration of workplace standards and emerging
technologies, procurement of industry-standard equipment, and foster workplace/post-secondary partnerships
Assists in developing and implementing school-wide operational systems and academy structures, including
schedules, staffing, course offerings, and student advisory practices

Serves as an ambassador for the IMPACT Center’s mission to inspire purpose-driven, life-ready student leaders,
with a particular emphasis as an advocate for students, families, and community partners; ongoing stakeholder
communication; consistent and highly effective recruitment, branding, and marketing; and coordination of
special events to showcase student work and academy impact

Ensures lab and equipment resources, safety standards, instructional resources, ongoing maintenance, and
available technology are aligned with industry certification requirements to promote student learning and
maximize student safety

Performs other duties commensurate with the position as assigned by the direct supervisor, superintendent, or
designee


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is performed by sitting, standing or walking. The work requires simple grasping and fine motor
manipulations. The work at times may require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, with the ability
to lift, carry, push or pull light weights.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Actual days worked will be determined by the current school calendar adopted by the Warren County Board of
Education. Salary shall be commensurate with the adopted certified personnel salary schedule. Leave will accrue
as specified in Board Policy.


EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Warren County Board of
Education district evaluation plan. Evaluations will be conducted by the Building Principal or his/her designee.
