Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Social Science Teacher to teach History, Civics, Geography, and Economics to students across assigned grades. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a student-centric teaching approach.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Classroom Delivery

• Teach History, Civics, Geography, and Economics as per the school curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Prepare lesson plans, chapter summaries, teaching aids, and interactive class activities.
• Use maps, charts, models, and digital tools to make concepts engaging.
• Encourage critical thinking and awareness of social, political, and cultural topics.

2. Student Assessment & Evaluation

• Design and conduct tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic progress reports.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents.

3. Student Development

• Help students develop knowledge of society, politics, environment, and world history.
• Guide students in research work, presentations, role-plays, and classroom discussions.
• Prepare students for Olympiads, exhibitions, and social science fairs.

4. Classroom & School Responsibilities

• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, parent–teacher meetings, and training programs.
• Support school activities related to cultural programs, exhibitions, and academic events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Social Sciences.
• B.Ed is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social science concepts and teaching practices.
• Good communication skills and classroom management ability.
• Prior teaching experience is an added advantage. Preferred Skills
• Ability to integrate digital tools in teaching (smart boards, PPT, videos).
• Strong storytelling skills for historical topics.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
• Passion for student growth and development.

Pay: ₹10,587.54 - ₹43,353.91 per month
