Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements all aspect of electrical controls systems software and hardware relevent to equipement used for the processing of implantable medical devices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets all the requirements of a Software/Controls Engineer Level II.
- Has 5-7 years of relevant experience in software and controls engineering, with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in software and controls engineering, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Leads the strategic direction and vision for the software and controls engineering function, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to identify and address organizational challenges and opportunities.
- Drives innovation in software and controls system design, developing new approaches and technologies to enhance product capabilities and customer value.
- Mentors and develops the software and controls engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Represents the company as a technical authority, interfacing with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with test equipment utilized during the debugging and troubleshooting of automation control systems required.
Must be able to analyze information, have general programming skills and knowledge in software design, software debugging, software documentation, software testing, and problem solving. Experience with Dynamic C and microcontrollers. Experience with .net programming a plus. Experience with OMRON, AB, Beckhoff PLC, Cognex vision controls, and creating HMI’s a plus.
