About our client:

They are building automation systems that tackle global compliance at scale, taking on a $200B/year market traditionally dominated by the Big Four. Backed by top-tier investors with $6M in seed funding, it is a fast-growing startup (10% MoM since December) already trusted by leading enterprises.

About role:

As part of its core engineering team, you will play a central role in building and maintaining the systems that power our entire product suite. This includes:

• CommendaOS – its core data model that represents a corporate structure, its governance, and business operations.
• Tax Engine – a scalable system that applies complex business logic rules to operational data in order to identify compliance obligations and fulfill them.

Requirements:

Experience

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
• Proven track record of writing production software for real customers.
• Prior experience at a startup .
• Bonus: Experience working full-time as a software engineer while in college.
• Having “Founding Engineer” on the resume is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

• Serious hands-on experience developing backend services in Golang .
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn and work with React, Go, and Node.js in a production environment.

• Comfortable with a high-commitment, fast-paced environment (not a standard 9–5 role).
• Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to take ownership from day one.
