Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in IBM QS and GCP BigQuery, you will lead the technical design and customization of our IBM Quality Stage Edition to meet evolving business requirements. You will develop and optimize real-time services for customer data management, ensure the stability of existing environments, and play a key role in cloud migration efforts to GCP. This position demands expertise in Java/J2EE, database technologies, and a comprehensive understanding of GCP's Big Data ecosystem, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Terraform.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM QS, Java, and J2EE.
• 3 years of GCP experience working in GCP-based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging BigQuery, BigTable, Google Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.
• 1 year of experience deploying Google Cloud services using Terraform.

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer, where your expertise in IBM Quality Stage and Google Cloud Platform will drive significant impact. You will be at the forefront of evolving our data management capabilities, responsible for the end-to-end technical design and customization of our IBM Quality Stage product. Your daily tasks will involve creating technical designs for proposed solutions, customizing the QS product based on new requirements, and fine-tuning real-time service development for critical functions like customer search and data maintenance (add/update).

Beyond development, you will be a key contributor to understanding and enhancing the stability of existing environments and actively supporting our strategic cloud migration activities. This role requires a deep understanding of master data management concepts, data modeling, and database systems, along with proficiency in IBM QS solutions. You will leverage your strong foundation in Java/J2EE and object-oriented design principles to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. Your experience with GCP's Big Data services, such as Big Query, Bigtable, Google Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion, and Dataflow, will be crucial for building and optimizing data pipelines and warehousing solutions. Experience with Terraform for deploying cloud services is also a significant advantage.
