Software Engineer (RPA Scripting)

Overview

Software Engineer - RPA Scripting with 5+ years of development experience, including 3+ years in Automation Anywhere (Master Developer certified). The role involves building complex automation processes, integrating REST APIs, and working with C#, VBScript, JavaScript, and MSSQL. Experience in banking, finance, or fintech is preferred. Knowledge of Agile practices and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Build complex automation processes and workflows using RPA tools, with focus on Automation Anywhere


• Integrate REST APIs and work with C#, VBScript, JavaScript, and MSSQL


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automated solutions


• Document technical designs and solutions


• Participate in Agile development practices

Education

• Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in Automation Anywhere


• Automation Anywhere Master Developer certification


• Experience developing complex processes involving several applications and related components


• Experience creating Desktop Automation solutions


• Experience consuming REST APIs

Technical Skills

• Expertise with Automation Anywhere Control Room components


• Experience creating taskbots and metabot


• Strong skills in documenting training in IQBot


• Knowledge of Bot Insight


• Knowledge of creating stored procedures, tables, and queries in MSSQL


• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented programming principles


• Proficiency in C#, VBScript, and JavaScript

Functional Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial services, and Fintech within an enterprise environment


• Experience following coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards


• Experience with Agile methodology


• Ability to ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design


• Ability to research and benchmark technology against best-in-class solutions

Soft Skills

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations and share expertise
