About the Role:
Asterisk Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Software Support Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients, troubleshooting software-related issues, and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely and effective issue resolution. This position requires strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system, providing high-quality technical support and guidance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues using Microsoft SQL Server and other relevant tools.
· Gather detailed information from customers regarding technical problems and document all support interactions.
· Log and manage incidents through the company’s ticketing system, ensuring proper tracking and resolution.
· Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software bugs and system errors.
· Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of issues, solutions, and system processes.
· Ensure timely follow-up and closure of all support tickets within the defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server or strong SQL query knowledge (Fresh graduates with SQL knowledge are encouraged to apply).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
· Experience with a helpdesk ticketing system and customer support tools (for experienced candidates).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
