Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will analyse requirements, design test scenarios, create and execute manual test cases, and develop reliable automation scripts using Selenium/Playwright. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesManual Testing

• Analyse business and technical requirements to create detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and QA sign-off.
• Validate UI, user flows, and usability aspects of the application.

Automation Testing

• Design and develop automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks (POM/Hybrid/BDD).
• Create reusable functions to improve test efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab).
• Execute automated test suites and analyse results.

General

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand functionality.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across features.
• Prepare test reports and participate in QA review meetings.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation practices.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Manual + Automation testing.
• Strong experience in manual testing techniques and test case design.
• Hands-on experience in automation using Selenium and/or Playwright (Java/Python/JS/TS).
• Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira/Azure DevOps).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes.

Good to Have

• Experience in BDD tools (Cucumber).
• Exposure to Database Testing (SQL queries, joins).
• Experience in cloud or cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of performance testing basics (JMeter).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
