Solar Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare solar PV designs, layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
• Assist in site surveys, roof measurements, and feasibility checks.
• Perform basic PV system sizing, shadow analysis, and energy generation calculations.
• Create BOQ, material list, and technical documentation.
• Work on AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst/Helioscope for design and modeling.
• Coordinate with sales, project, and procurement teams for design inputs.
• Support installation teams with design clarifications during execution.
• Ensure designs meet electrical standards, safety rules, and DISCOM/net-metering norms.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / EEE / Mechanical (Freshers welcome).
• 0–3 years of experience in solar design or electrical design.
• Knowledge of solar system components and basic electrical principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to PVsyst/Helioscope is a plus.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
