Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and well-organised Solar Liaisoning Executive to handle all government, DISCOM, and regulatory processes related to solar installations. The role includes managing net metering applications, subsidy documentation (State & PM Surya Ghar), customer-related requests such as load extension and name change, and coordinating with officials to ensure smooth and timely approval for every project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Net Metering & DISCOM Coordination

  • Submit net metering applications for each solar installation.
  • Follow up with DISCOM officials for site inspections, approvals, and meter installation.
  • Maintain documentation for each site: forms, load details, wiring diagrams, IDs, NOCs, etc.
  • Ensure timely completion of net-metering to avoid customer delays.

2. Solar Subsidy Application (State & PM Surya Ghar)

  • Prepare and submit subsidy applications on state portals and PM Surya Ghar portal.
  • Handle customer KYC, bank details, vendor selection process, and quality inspection scheduling.
  • Track each application from submission to subsidy release.
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines (technical, photographic, installation norms).

3. Customer Documentation Support

  • Assist customers with additional procedures such as:
  • Load extension/Load reduction
  • Name change on electricity connection
  • Sanctioned load correction
  • Ownership proof/ID updates
  • Meter change requests
  • Prepare and submit required forms and supporting documents.

4. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with the sales, technical, and accounts teams to collect required documents, load sheets, wiring diagrams, etc.
  • Maintain systematic records for each customer and provide status updates.
  • Ensure all regulatory documentation is submitted before or immediately after installation.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain MIS for net-metering, subsidy progress, and documentation status site-wise.
  • Keep updated knowledge of DISCOM policies, subsidy rules, and state regulations.
  • Inform management of any new changes in processes or compliance requirements.

Skills & QualificationsRequired

  • 1–3 years of experience in liaisoning, government work, or documentation processes.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to DISCOM offices and customer locations.
  • Good knowledge of documentation, government portals, and online application processes.
  • Basic understanding of rooftop solar systems (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred

  • Experience in solar net-metering or subsidy documentation.
  • Familiarity with local DISCOM workflows.
