Position Overview:
Inova Purifiers is seeking a talented SolidWorks Designer to join our team in Denton, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and modeling state-of-the-art air purification systems, primarily focusing on sheet metal and aluminum components. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a background in Engineering or Industrial Design, as well as experienced candidates looking to advance their skills in both design and production environments.

You will be working in a dynamic, high-precision manufacturing environment utilizing CNC equipment, and you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, purchasing, and shop/assembly. The ideal candidate will have strong SolidWorks skills, a keen attention to detail, and an interest in gaining hands-on experience in air purifier design and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine SolidWorks models for air purification systems and components.
  • Research new design concepts, materials, and technologies.
  • Develop and document bill of materials (BOM) and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with management and production teams to manufacture prototypes.
  • Ensure design outputs meet quality standards and conform to ISO 9001 requirements (where applicable).
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product functionality and manufacturability.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical design, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, with a focus on sheet metal assemblies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Effective problem-solving, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, with daily review meetings to track progress.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
