Sourcing and procurement manager Civil

• Strategy and planning: Develop effective sourcing strategies and procurement plans to meet business goals.
• Supplier management: Research, identify, and build relationships with profitable and reliable suppliers. This includes negotiating contracts and maintaining long-term partnerships.
• Negotiation: Secure advantageous terms, prices, and delivery schedules from external vendors through skilled negotiation.
• Financial management: Manage procurement budgets and track spending to control costs and identify areas for long-term savings.
• Risk management: Analyze data and prepare control strategies for potential risks within supply contracts and agreements.
• Process oversight: Approve purchase orders, finalize order details, and ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Performance tracking: Track and report on key functional metrics to improve effectiveness and control spending.
• Team leadership: Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of staff, such as buyers or procurement officers.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, finance, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, operations, or a similar field.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze data, identify opportunities, and manage risks.
• Negotiation skills: Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best possible terms and prices.
• Business judgment: Solid business judgment to understand the total value of a deal and make sound decisions.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in relevant software and strong presentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
