Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support the Chef de Cuisine in planning menus, recipes, and production schedules.
  • Lead, motivate, and train junior kitchen staff to maintain a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in all kitchen areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and waste control to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Oversee kitchen maintenance and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Manage staff scheduling, discipline, and performance appraisals as required.
  • Contribute to new menu development and continuous culinary innovation.
