ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Therapeutic Massage:

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Thai and other specialized treatments.

Customize massage sessions to meet the individual needs and preferences of each guest.

Maintain a high standard of technique and professionalism during treatments.

Client Consultations:

Conduct thorough consultations with guests to assess their health history, specific concerns, and desired outcomes.

Provide recommendations for appropriate massage treatments and aftercare.

Spa Environment:

Create a serene and welcoming spa environment that promotes relaxation and tranquility.

Ensure that treatment rooms are clean, well-organized, and properly stocked with supplies.

Set up and sanitize equipment and tools before and after each treatment.

Guest Experience:

Greet guests warmly and professionally, guiding them through the spa experience.

Explain treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes to guests.

Ensure guests are comfortable and address any concerns or special requests promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to all local and state regulations governing massage therapy.

Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.

Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards for guest records and discussions.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about spa products, treatments, and enhancements offered by the hotel.

Assist guests in selecting appropriate products for their home care routines.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other spa professionals, including aestheticians, nail technicians, and wellness experts, to offer comprehensive wellness experiences.

Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 1 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a hotel, resort, or wellness center.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of treatments, techniques, and spa products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
