Position Purpose:
The Space Planner will manage the data integration for planogram creation and validation. This position will develop Planogram merchandising requirements and layouts for retail programs that efficiently and effectively embody a strategy approach while taking advantage of local opportunities and respecting store and corporate capital, facilities, and assortment constraints.

The Space Planner will leverage Category Management best practices, principles and the developed category plan regarding product assortment placement requirements and flows, and synthesize important market data when developing/approving the planogram.

Responsibilities:
  • Create Space Planning layouts for publishing and printing of planograms
  • Identify planogram merchandising standards and requirements per category
  • Participate in creation of planogram submission for client planograms and validation testing
  • Create Space Planning reports for collaboration with client, vendors and Category Manager’s
  • Coordinate with client and category representatives to obtain their input and requirements
  • Provide requirements and information for all Planogram details, reporting, and input/outputs
  • Review design documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
  • Excellence written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equal work experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Space Planning, JDA/Blue Yonder software required.
Retail, CPG, C-store experience
