Job Summary
We are recruiting skilled technicians specializing in sports flooring installation to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience installing PU flooring systems for indoor sports facilities, vinyl athletic flooring, and other specialized sports surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Install various types of sports flooring systems including PU flooring for gymnasiums and indoor sports facilities
Execute vinyl flooring installation for athletic applications
Prepare substrates and surfaces according to manufacturer specifications
Apply adhesives, primers, and sealers using appropriate techniques
Operate specialized installation equipment and tools safely
Perform quality checks and measurements throughout installation process
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Assist with material handling and site preparation activities
Support team leader with project documentation and progress updates
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in sports flooring installation
Demonstrated expertise in PU flooring systems for indoor sports applications
Proficiency in vinyl flooring installation techniques
Knowledge of surface preparation methods and substrate requirements
Experience with adhesive application and flooring finishing processes
Ability to use measuring tools and installation equipment accurately
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Basic English communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines
Valid residence permit or ability to obtain work authorization in Qatar
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certification in flooring installation
Experience with rubber flooring, synthetic turf, or other athletic surfaces
Familiarity with international sports facility standards
Previous work experience in Qatar or other GCC countries
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction industry
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency with installation tools including trowels, rollers, and cutting equipment
Understanding of moisture testing and environmental conditions affecting installation
Knowledge of different adhesive types and their applications
Ability to identify and resolve common installation issues
Experience with line marking and court layout procedures
