Qualifications

The Role

The Sr. Analyst, Loyalty & Guest Analytics is responsible for deriving insights from guest transactional and engagement data to inform decision-making, guide strategic direction, develop a holistic understanding of the guest experience and guest-to-member journey, and improve the performance of the loyalty program.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading ad hoc analytics projects that support decision-making for key stakeholders (with an emphasis on the Americas Loyalty and Partnership teams) by scoping requirements and deliverables, securing timelines and resources, and executing projects.
  • Setting program KPI goals, monitoring performance, and leveraging results to provide insights and recommendations for improving loyalty program outcomes.
  • Supporting loyalty program offer development, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Promoting the World of Hyatt value proposition through metrics and insights development.
  • Analyzing guest and non-member data to identify trends, patterns, and behaviors.
  • Monitoring performance metrics related to engagement, acquisition, and conversion of non-member guests.
  • Identifying opportunities for deeper analytical support and developing reporting products to address gaps.
  • Assisting in developing self-service analytics tools and providing curated dashboards and insights for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree with quantitative emphasis
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst, preferably in marketing or loyalty programs
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights that inform decision-making
  • Experience measuring organizational performance and developing models to identify metric relationships and predict outcomes
  • Proficient in building and automating reports for business stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for extracting and analyzing large transactional datasets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
  • Experience providing data and reporting QA
  • Effective at communicating analytical findings to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
  • Strong analytic thinker with attention to detail
  • Self-driven, curious, and resourceful
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding data integrity and governance standards
Experience Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Tableau (or other BI tools), and Alteryx

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
