A. HR Operations – Site
- Manage attendance, shift schedules, leaves, and timesheets for all staff and contract workers.
- Facilitate onboarding, induction, ID cards, and access control for new joiners at site.
- Maintain employee records as per audit requirements.
- Support performance monitoring, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure timely payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions).
B. Statutory Compliance (India Labour Laws)
- Ensure 100% compliance with applicable laws:
- Factories Act / Shops & Establishment Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA)
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act / Payment of Bonus Act
- ESI, EPF & Professional Tax
- Maternity Benefit Act, Gratuity Act, POSH Act, etc.
- Manage contractor compliance:
- Check licenses, RC/CLC, PF/ESI challans, wage registers, muster rolls.
- Ensure vendor compliance documents are verified and submitted monthly.
- Coordinate with labour authorities for inspections, notices, and compliance audits.
- Prepare monthly statutory compliance reports for HO.
C. Administration & Site Management
- Manage office administration: stationery, housekeeping, security, transport, canteen, etc.
- Oversee travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics for staff.
- Ensure safety protocols, PPE distribution, and coordination with HSE teams.
- Vendor management – negotiate rates, maintain agreements, track bills & payments.
- Handle asset management – laptops, tools, equipment, consumables.
D. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Conduct site-level engagement activities – events, trainings, welfare programs.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, leaves, attendance, PF/ESI, etc.
- Support employee grievance redressal and maintain discipline at site.
E. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain HR dashboards – manpower, attrition, attendance, compliance tracker.
- Coordinate with HO HR for payroll, recruitment, and policy implementation.
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory and HR MIS reports.
3. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BBA/BA/B.Com) or Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in site HR/Admin roles (construction, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour compliances and contractor management.
4. Skills Required
- Good understanding of statutory norms (PF/ESI/PT/CLRA).
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Time management and multi-tasking ability at sites.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS, and compliance reporting.
- Problem-solving and ability to work in remote project environments.
5. Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel to multiple project sites.
- Ability to handle labour issues and interact with government authorities.
- Strong ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
