Job Description – Sr. HR Executive (Printing & Packaging Industry)
Position: Sr. HR Executive
Industry: Printing & Packaging / Manufacturing
Experience Required: 4–7 years (must have experience in printing & packaging or related manufacturing industry)
Qualification: MBA in Human Resources
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and office roles.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates from relevant industry backgrounds.
- Conduct interviews and manage onboarding & induction processes.
2. Employee Life Cycle Management
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS reports.
- Handle employee engagement activities, grievance redressal, and feedback mechanisms.
- Manage attendance, leave, and payroll coordination with the accounts team.
3. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and plan training programs for plant and office staff.
- Conduct induction & orientation for new employees.
- Support performance appraisal processes.
4. HR Operations & Administration
- Draft HR policies, SOPs, and ensure proper implementation.
- Maintain discipline and ensure smooth communication across departments.
- Oversee shift schedules, contract labour and vendor coordination.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements: PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, MLWF, etc.
- Manage factory HR documentation, registers, and audits as per the Factories Act.
- Coordinate with government bodies and handle labour inspections.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports and maintain legal records.
6. Industrial Relations
- Maintain healthy relations with workers and contract labour.
- Ensure timely resolution of disputes and grievances.
- Support management in maintaining a positive work environment on the shop floor.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, Factories Act, IR practices, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing / printing & packaging industry is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced factory environment.
