About the Role

The HR Senior Generalist will play a critical role in supporting daily HR operations and driving a consistent and positive employee experience across the organization. This position will serve as a primary HR point-of-contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on experience across multiple HR functional areas, including timekeeping, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.

This is a fully onsite role (until further notice) and requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee biweekly timekeeping process, ensuring all timesheets are submitted and approved by deadline
  • Process contractor invoices within company Approvals & Web Accounting systems
  • Audit time entries for accuracy and compliance with CA wage and hour laws
  • Review and process meal break premiums and other applicable exceptions
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Own the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, interview coordination, offer process, and requisition closure
  • Ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and fill roles efficiently
  • Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and data change management
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation in alignment with compliance standards
  • Oversee I-9 verification, employment eligibility, and HR compliance reporting
  • Support actions within the SAP Human Capital Module (HCM), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and empathy
  • Educate stakeholders on HR programs and compliance considerations
  • Partner with internal COEs, including Learning & Development, HRIS (UKG), and Payroll
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, assisting with audits, reporting, and process improvements as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including hands-on timekeeping, onboarding, and recruiting
  • Working knowledge of wage & hour labor laws; California experience required
  • Experience with HR systems and ERP; SAP and UKG experience a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex HR scenarios

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000.00 per year DOE
