Marmon Global Innovation Center is seeking outstanding engineer in CFD Analysis (preferably with heat exchanger product knowledge). He / She should have strong CFD modeling skills & is experienced in using simulation tools to solve complex engineering problems & prove the hypotheses. Someone who can also bridge the gap between physics-based simulation and data-driven approaches such as Digital Twins, AI, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing predictive models, accelerating design cycles, and enabling intelligent, connected products through hybrid simulation methodologies Corelate the actual application conditions into simulation models. Uses best practices & knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently & able to guide others.

Qualification : Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in either Mechanical / Automobile / Thermal

Experience : 10 – 12 Yrs.

Position Overview:

Marmon Global Innovation Center is seeking outstanding engineer in CFD Analysis (preferably with heat exchanger product knowledge). He / She should have strong CFD modeling skills & is experienced in using simulation tools to solve complex engineering problems & prove the hypotheses. Someone who can also bridge the gap between physics-based simulation and data-driven approaches such as Digital Twins, AI, and Machine Learning. Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • Works on identifying product design & development problems where CFD analysis can assist & accelerate development of products in device portfolio.
  • Develop and validate CFD methodologies, including RANS, URANS, and LES (Large Eddy Simulation) for resolving complex, unsteady flow phenomena
  • Proactively validate / correlate results with real world data & makes model improvements as deemed necessary.
  • Optimize designs through parametric and sensitivity studies
  • Interpret analysis results with respect to results obtained by lab testing procedures, converting these results into practical design suggestions.
  • Generates high quality engineering test reports & presents results/conclusions to the design engineering community.
  • Support development of CFD methods related to new technologies.
  • Should be able to mentor junior engineers & help them improve their capabilities.

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • Ensure simulation problem definition, appropriateness, adequacy of simulation scope, correctness & completeness of CFD analysis.
  • Experience in meshing strategies, turbulence modeling, and conjugate heat transfer (CHT)
  • Experience with optimization frameworks [Optislang, Tosca etc]
  • Understanding of cloud or HPC environments for large-scale LES simulations
  • Skilled in CFD tools like Ansys Fluent, Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM etc.
  • Strong CFD meshing knowledge in Ansys fluent meshing or Hypermesh
  • Knowledge of CAD Tools such as Spaceclaim/Solidworks is a must.
  • Prior experience or comprehensive knowledge of experimental characterization techniques is preferred.
  • Analysis report preparation and manual writing skills.

Nice to have Requirements:

  • Experience in heat exchangers
  • Postprocessing tools such as Paraview, Ensight etc.
  • Knowledge on Aeroacoustics is an advantage.
  • Exposure to different international standards with respect to CFD modelling and testing.
